Theodosius I, 379-395. Solidus (Gold, 22 mm, 4.46 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, 380-381. D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG Rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Theodosius I to right. Rev. CONCOR-DIA AVGGG / CONOB Constantinopolis, helmeted, seated facing on throne ornamented with lion's heads, head turned to right, holding long scepter in right hand and globe in her left, placing right foot on prow. Depeyrot 32/3. RIC 44c. Very well struck and nicely centered. A few light marks, otherwise, good extremely fine.
